Join Our Team!
The Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council has an array of opportunities for individuals seeking to work in the arts. Whether you are interested in a career at GPAC, or volunteer opportunities like hands-on internships or pro bono consulting to share your expertise. Check back often – we’ll post new opportunities as they become available.
At this time, GPAC is running a full ship! Check back here in the future for new open positions. We hope you'll consider joining our team!
Also, check out our Arts Jobs page for other websites that list...well, arts jobs.
GPAC offers internships to undergraduate and graduate students on a year-round basis. As a membership-based, arts service organization, we offer opportunities to work on a variety of issues facing Pittsburgh's arts sector. Interns gain professional, on-the-job experience working with and assisting staff in a number of areas. Internships may be available in Business & Legal Consulting, Communications, Cultural Policy & Research, Grantmaking, Membership & Development, or Public Art. Internships are generally unpaid, though a Federal Work Study match may be available in some cases. Please check back in February 2013 for available summer internships.
Pro Bono Consulting
Whether you're an attorney or a business professional, you have valuable knowledge that could make a big difference in the arts. A thriving arts industry requires a solid support structure for the individual artists and small arts nonprofits that form our grass roots. Learn more about how you can help through Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and Business Volunteers for the Arts.
