Project: To offer workshops and panel discussions with Asian American filmmakers and actors during the weeklong film festival in order to more directly connect the local Pittsburgh community with Asian and Asian American film and culture.

Cheryl Capezzuti Grant:
Project: For "Puppets for Pittsburgh," a free lending library of giant puppets created for the greater Pittsburgh community to use to bring attention and excitement to public events; the project includes giant puppets to loan, free puppetmaking workshops for interested individuals and volunteer puppeteer opportunities.

Project: To include lower-income children and their families in the audience of Black Nativity, an annual multi-cultural performance by the African Drum and Dance Ensemble.
