Research

Research helps the arts community, lawmakers, civic leaders, and the general public to understand the social and economic impact of the arts and culture sector.  The Arts Council conducts, releases, and monitors research as part of our continued service to the local arts and culture community.

Economic Impact Studies

Every four to six years, Americans for the Arts conducts an Arts & Economic Prosperity (AEP) study to gauge the economic impact of the nonprofit arts and culture sector on the economy.

Research Briefs

Briefs are short research pieces that address a particular issue or question. Many are the result of questions asked by arts groups, funders, or members of government.
