Soren de-Niz

Bio

Soren de-Niz previously served as the Fall 2023 Communications Intern. They are an artist of many mediums including design, music, and theater. They graduated with an associate’s degree from the Community College of Allegheny County in May 2023 and are continuing their studies working towards a certificate in graphic design. As a child of Mexican immigrants and a member of the LGBTQ+ community, Soren is very enthusiastic about initiatives that focus on diversifying the artists in the spotlight.

Apart from classes, Soren fills their free time with as many creative endeavors as can possibly fit in their schedule. Soren is very active in Pittsburgh’s theater community and participates as an actor, stage manager, director, and any other role that might be needed. They are also the founder and CEO of Glass Fox Productions, an audio storytelling company focused on expanding accessibility, diversity, and inclusion in local performance arts. They also play original music locally under the band name Paladin with their partner and some longtime friends. Safe to say Soren is thrilled to continue being in the thick of the Pittsburgh arts community.
