Bio

Primary focus: Storytelling, graphic design, marketing, public relations

You might know me from: My former roles as Editor in Chief and Art Director at Pittsburgh City Paper, serving as a Board member for Corningworks

Artistic Practices: Poetry, embroidery, lip-syncing

Astrological sign: Leo (but you'll probably think I'm a Cancer until you get to know me)

Best concert I've ever attended: Tom Waits at House of Blues in Cleveland. It was the second of two Tom Waits shows I saw in one night back in 2006. My friend and I skipped out during the encore of the first show at Akron Civic Theatre, where we were sitting in the last rows, to rush 45 minutes to Cleveland, where we landed a spot right in front of the stage. No phones or cameras were allowed, but the memory of Tom Waits singing right in front of me in a small club will stay with me forever.

Where you might spot me: Searching for street art, cheering on the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra at Heinz Hall, watching foreign films at the Harris Theater
